A precedent study of a visitor center in Denmark for the Wadden Sea designed by Dorte Mandrup. The use of thatch is intended to connect the project with regional historical materials, while the form adds a modern twist on pitched roofs. The program of this visitor center includes a series of exhibit spaces indented to connect visitors with bird migration and anatomy, the sky, tides, and storm floods.
